Whilst we have no reports yet on durability, we note they have been tested on the WC circuit under the highest performing athletes on the globe. 

Front Sidekick hubs are not yet available in Australia, and are unreasonably expensive. For 15mm front axles, we pair Sidekick with a Yama hub in silver or black, and for 20mm axles we pair with a DT Swiss 350.

Gram for gram, the Prodigy is as strong as the best wheels on the market today. In lab testing, it matches the We Are One Triad in impact strength and compliance. 

Offset holes enable high-tension spokes on both sides of the wheel, greatly reducing the chance of wheels de-tensioning.

Unpainted and raw, the carbon Prodigy rims are veritably flawless. This process is far more environmentally friendly than sanding and painting a rim.

Spoke holes are 4-axis drilled, enabling nipples to perfectly align with spokes. This greatly reduces the chance of spokes snapping at the thread.

Alpina Raggi Spokes and Nipples

The highest quality spoke and nipples, made in Italy since 1926.

Alpina is famous for its automation, which ensures consistency and quality whilst manufacturing wheel components. Alpina Nyloc nipples are particularly innovative, with a high 12Nm of locking force consistent throughout the lifetime of the nipple, no matter how many times they are adjusted. All Alpina spokes are guaranteed to be made from the highest quality European wire, unlike some of its closest competitors.

The Alpina Lite spoke is a double butted round spoke directly equivalent to the DT Swiss Competition.

The Alpina Ultralite Aero spoke is a bladed spoke directly equivalent to a DT Swiss AeroLite. Swapping to the Ultralite Aero spoke saves approximately 100g on your wheelset.
