The 2.5 tyre suits fans of the DHF who are looking for a slightly faster front tyre. The lower centre knobs reduce rolling resistance, whilst keeping the meaty side knobs for great cornering characteristics. 

Isabeau Courdurier won three EWS/EDR championships on these tyres, proving that they have what it takes to set fast times on Enduro stages.

Hutchinson's 2x66 TPI casing has protection somewhere between a Maxxis DD and DH tyre. They have thinner, more supple sidewalls than the Maxxis equivalent. That gives them a fantastic ride feel and quality. The trade-off is that they do not have as stiff a carcass for true DH riding. We think there are other, more suitable tyres for people who predominantly ride in lift-assisted bike parks. 

The rubber compound and distribution is identical in Shore hardness to Maxxis MaxxTerra, with a softer rubber on the shoulder knobs.
