Description

The all new RockShox Reverb AXS takes the widely acclaimed Reverb dropper post, gives it some nice updates and makes it wireless. That's right- no hoses, cables, or wires to be seen or heard from. The hydraulic Reverb lever you used to push has been replaced with a controller you touch. No delay, no second guessing. A press and hold of the paddle (while sitting on the saddle) sends it down- hit it again, it's right back up. Sadly- with use, and the passing of time air and oil mixes. This can result in the dreaded 'dropper post squish'. The Reverb AXS features Vent Valve Technology which allows you to separate any ingressed air from the oil. Simply depress the valve, compress the post, release the valve and ride off into the sunset (squish free). Featuring a new lubrication design, RockShox eliminated even more friction allowing for a faster post actuation and a reduction in the necessary force to depress the post. Every iteration of the Reverb has been better than the last and this one looks to be the best by a long shot!

Who's this item for: Riders who want the cleanest dropper post install around. No hoses, wires, cables, nothing. Just a post, controller and battery.

Actuation style: The seatpost is controlled by a wireless controller. This controller is powered by an included CR2032 battery. Press and hold the paddle while sitting on the saddle to lower the dropper. Unweight the saddle, press the paddle again and the seatpost pops back up.

Spring style: The Reverb AXS uses an air spring design like all the Reverbs before it have.

Infinite or finite adjustments: You can stop the Reverb anywhere in it's stoke allowing an infinite amount of adjustment.

Internal or externally routed: WIRELESS!! That's right, not internally or externally routed. Install the dropper post, the controller and a charged up AXS battery and you are ready to roll!

Lever included: Yes, the RockShox Reverb AXS includes the AXS wireless controller.

Lever mounting options: The controller can be mounted to your existing SRAM MMX mounting clamp or with the included SRAM Discrete Clamp.

Includes cable / housing / battery: The RockShox Reverb AXS includes an AXS battery for the seatpost and a CR2032 battery for the controller. The AXS battery lasts for roughly 40 hours of trail use time.

Saddle clamp style: The saddle clamp used on the Reverb AXS is very clever. A single rail-retention bolt makes for a quick and effortless saddle install. A secondary bolt found on the front of the saddle clamp head allows for fine tilt-adjustments.

Weight: The 170mm drop, 30.9mm diameter, weighs a (claimed) 647-grams with a battery.

Stand out features: A separate bolt is used adjust the saddle level than is used to fix the saddle to the seatpost head. This allows for easy fine adjustments. This clever saddle clamp is compatible with 7mm Round Rail, 7x9mm Oval Rails. With the use of SRAMS free to download SRAM AXS app you can configure your SRAM AXS components, review battery life, check usage and receive firmware updates. The whole system is IPX7 rated for water and dust proofing.

What's in the box:
  • 1 x RockShox Reverb AXS dropper post
  • 1 x AXS controller with CR2032 battery and discrete clamp
  • 1 x SRAM AXS battery
  • 1 x AXS battery charger

Pros: WIRELESS BABY!!! We can finally REMOVE a cable from that birds nest hanging off the front of our bikes.

Cons: Cost. It is expensive right now as this is the bleeding edge of mtb technology. Give it a few years and the price will reduce.
