The new and improved Hydra 2, made in America by the team from Industry Nine.
The updates to the Hydra 2 address the durability issues that some customers had with the first generation product.
Meaningful changes and improvements over the Hydra include:
- Thicker axle to prolong axle life
- Revised bearing pre-load system to ensure they stay running smooth
- New radial seal to minimise nasty stuff getting into the freehub mechanism
- Drive ring machined from a higher grade of steel, with oversized teeth to improve durability
- Larger 61903 bearings
